The Martino
This expressive piece was created by learners from the Anna Foundation’s Dennegeur after-school project. Using cotton wool and blue sequins, they gave Nelson Mandela a textured beard, adding depth and detail to his portrait. His shirt was decorated with fabric, gemstones and paint, creating a rich mix of colour and texture that brings the artwork to life.
