Meet the artists

The talented learners from the Anna Foundation Afterschools have created stunning artworks inspired by the South African icon, Nelson Mandela and the South African flag. The funds raised from the sale of these artworks will directly contribute to uplifting our afterschool programs, ensuring that every child has access to quality education and resources. Join us in celebrating their hard work and making a positive impact in our community!

Declutter for a Cause: Give Your Unused Items New Life

With your donation, wou will give a child a safe and supportive space after school where they can eat a warm meal, get help with homework and simply be a child. Your donation provides one month of care, learning and encouragement.

This small act can build confidence, open young minds and create lasting change. Will you help us reach one more child?

Bring learning home with the Anna Foundation’s 3Rs Activity Pack – a South Africa-themed bundle full of educational worksheets, life skills activities and fun sport games for children. Rooted in our 3Rs approach (Reading, Running and Right-ing), each pack is designed to keep kids thinking, moving and growing.

Perfect for parents, teachers or anyone looking for screen-free activities.

You don’t need teaching experience to make a difference. Whether you want to help by tutoring children, join them in fun runs, or play sports together, your time and enthusiasm are what truly count. Volunteering for us means sharing moments, encouraging growth, and being part of something meaningful, no special skills needed, just a willing heart.

That backpack at the back of your cupboard, the stack of books your kids have outgrown, old sport equipment, puzzles or warm jackets – anything you no longer use could be exactly what a child needs.

By donating your gently used goods, you are offering practical help to children who need it most.

Our Story

Empowering Communities Together

Art4Charity, initiated by the Anna Foundation, is dedicated to showcasing and selling vibrant artworks created by children in rural after-school projects across the Western Cape. Our mission is to support children's creativity and empower them to dream big through art.

All donations and art sales support the Anna Foundation’s 3Rs Programme (Reading, Running, and Right-ing) which empowers children in rural communities. Many of these children live on isolated farms and often don’t have a safe place to go after school. Through literacy, physical activity, and creative expression, we provide not just learning, but a supportive space where they can grow, connect, and find hope. Your support helps us bring this vital lifeline to those who need it most.

Stories From the Anna Foundation Community

Anna Foundation helps me a lot. Especially the maths programme. The sport also means a lot to me.  It keeps me fit and away from bad things. The drama is excellent. My report is much better now than before. It helps me a lot at school.

Mervin (Grade 8)

The impact that Anna Foundation has had on the children at Buffet        Olives and the community at large is more than money can buy.  The pride, confidence and self-esteem is clearly evident.  These are qualities that don’t just happen and it is from this foundation that dreams can become a reality. Thank you for providing the tools so that children can determine their future.

John Schrimgeour – Buffet Olives (Their programme started 2011)

My favourite part at the afterschool is doing the Anna Foundation activities. I learn so much! I also really love all the sport and drama games we played.
