This standout piece comes from learners at the Anna Foundation’s Neethlingshof after-school project. They brought together dyed rice, strands of string, cuttings from magazines, and even sections of Checkers 60/60 bags to build a bold, textured artwork. Topped with pieces of wigs for extra flair, it’s a clever take on using everyday materials in unusual ways.

The mix of media gives this A1 artwork (63cm x 88cm) a layered, collage feel that’s both expressive and resourceful. Framed with a glass cover and sold in support of the Anna Foundation’s commitment to rural children through education, sport, and life skills.
