This artwork was created by the Grade R learners from the Anna Foundation’s Lorraine after-school project. They used cotton wool to create Madiba’s hair and crafted a pocket for his shirt from black wool, with a few coins peeking out. The children added beans and coloured pencil details to complete the design.

A small South African flag in the background ties the piece to Madiba’s legacy and national pride.

Framed with a glass cover, the A1 artwork (63cm x 88cm) is ready to display. By purchasing it through Art4Charity, you support the Anna Foundation’s mission to empower rural children through education, sport and life skills.
